Vice President -  Kathy Jones; UW Health

Kathy Jones is a disaster recovery and IT leader with more than 25 years of experience helping healthcare organizations strengthen resilience, continuity, and operational readiness. As DR Program Manager at UW Hospitals and Clinics, she leads enterprise recovery planning and supports strategic initiatives across more than 300 of the most critical systems. She brings a practical, people-focused perspective shaped by deep experience in technology, project leadership, and process improvement.

Treasurer - Linda Jacobi-Miller; Carnival Cruise Line

Linda Jacobi-Miller, MBCP, MBCI, is a seasoned business continuity and disaster recovery leader with 20+ years of experience.  Linda earned her Master Business Continuity Professional designation in 2017 and her Master Business Continuity Institute designation in 2019. 

Linda has been a member of BRPW for the past 20 years.  She has been Vice President, President, and is currently the Treasurer of the organization.  Linda is looking forward to continuing her role as treasurer and working with the group.

Secretary -  Dave McGuffey; American Family Insurance

Dave McGuffey is a Lead Security & Risk Analyst at American Family Insurance with over 15 years of IT service and project management experience and a focus on digital resiliency. He is a subject matter expert in change, configuration, and release management, with deep knowledge of ITIL and SEI CMM frameworks. Dave holds multiple certifications, including CRISC, CBCP, and ITIL, and brings strong governance, risk, and operational leadership to support organizational resilience.

Membership/Intern Director - Cari Mattson; Marshfield Clinic

Cari Mattson is an Emergency Management Specialist at Marshfield Clinic with a degree in Organizational Leadership (Emergency Management) from UW–Green Bay. She began her involvement with the Business Resiliency Professionals of Wisconsin (BRPW) as the organization’s first intern, demonstrating an early commitment to the field and continued dedication to the organization’s mission.

She currently serves as BRPW’s Membership and Intern Director, bringing cross-disciplinary experience in emergency management, cybersecurity, business continuity, and disaster recovery. A FEMA-certified professional, Cari is a dedicated emerging leader committed to strengthening organizational preparedness and resiliency.

Communication Director - Christa Fisher; State of WI - Dept of Employee Trust Funds

Christa Fisher is a Certified Business Continuity Specialist with more than 10 years of emergency management and business continuity experience.  In her current role as a BC specialist for the WI Department of Employee Trust Funds, she has and continues to develop and mature their BC plan, including using multiple communication platforms to socialize, inform and train staff on ETF’s BC Plan and Program. Christa’s writing has been featured in numerous professional journals as well as the Wisconsin State Journal and Capital Times. Outside of work, Christa volunteers as a resiliency specialist for small businesses and non-profit organizations.

Public Private Partnership/Government Liaison - Catherine Cooper; Aurora Health

Catherine Cooper, MBCP, is a seasoned business continuity leader with over 40 years of experience spanning utilities, banking, healthcare, insurance, and retail. She earned her Master Business Continuity Professional designation in 2017, building on her CBCP certification from 2004.

She is a past president of the Business Resiliency Professionals of Wisconsin and currently serves as the Public-Private Partnership Liaison. Catherine is also an active partner with Wisconsin Emergency Management through the State Business Emergency Operations Center (BEOC) and a member of the Wisconsin Public-Private Partnership (P3) Alliance, working to strengthen coordination between public and private sector partners during emergencies.
