Matthew Crampton - Director, Continuity of Government
Bio - Matthew Crampton is the Director, continuity of government for the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA). In this position, he is responsible for the oversight and development of continuity policy for all branches of state government as well as ensuring progress and maintenance of state agency continuity planning efforts. Prior to his current role, Matthew served as the deputy director, continuity of government for DOA, and as the continuity/safety manager for the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families. Before entering state service, Matthew was the business continuity manager for Sears Holdings Corporation.

In this presentation I will provide an overview of the approach that the State of Wisconsin takes to continuity. Including a review of our organizational structures, annual assessment procedures and exercising protocols. Throughout the presentation I will draw contrast between how things are done in the public sector and my own experience working in business continuity at Sears Holdings.
